Something to contact NG support about.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Wireless Adapter products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with wireless adapter products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

    Thank you.

There are regular requests for Netgear to support Linux on USB adapters devices. It isn't going to happen. But you might find some third party hacks out there.

Is this related to the A7000 in your footer?

Are you saying that the existing drivers are bust?

You might like to answer those questions if you do decide to follow up elsewhere. I am surprised that the less than helpful "go away" brush off you received did not suggests that. There isn't mush point on continuing without details like that.
