None of my other devices have this issue. Gigabit internet, USB 3.0 port.
What I've Tried: I've disabled the power saving options on all my USB ports and on the adapter itself. I've disabled USB selective suspend. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter. I've switched USB ports, I've disabled all other WiFi adapters. Installed the latest driver (V1.0.0.125).
The A8000 has been great when it works, but it's so unreliable. Any ideas?
Hey TAC0! I had similar issues with A8000 I tried this power saving method u can do this too. Even though you've disabled the power-saving options, double-check to ensure that Windows isn't cutting power to your USB ports. Sometimes, multiple areas need adjustment.
Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager. Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers. For each listed USB Root Hub, right-click, go to Properties, then under the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
