A8000 LED Not on yet still connected?
Before anyone says, I have tried many different ports (including USB 3.0 ports) with both the stand thing and the actual adapter alone and for some reason, even though I hear the notification of a device being added, and I can see the netgear thing in my wifi settings (and yes it's on), the light is still off and Im only getting about 40 mbps download (I was at like 200-300 before). I checked the drivers and im still on the latest one. I've reset my computer multiple times. I noticed it not working yesterday evening and no matter what I try, nothing seems to change. I would contact support but since I bought the device last august, it'd be cheaper to buy a new one than get technical support.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't think it's bricked or anything but I don't see what else I can do.

Bugger. Interesting that Netgear does not provide documentation showing where this LED is on the adapter.
Since the steps on page 12 of the User Manual failed to resolve the problem, have you checked this information on page 13:

Just tried that plus rebooting my PC (and waiting a minute to see if the light would come back on but that didnt really change anything. Speeds are still the same too
