The AXE3000 you refer to is probably the A3000 USB adapter. That's best discussed in the section where people talk about those things.

If you do want to continue, you might like y add a bit more detail Your "it doesn't work" description tells us  nothing ab out the PC it is used on and its operating system, and if you have tried the adapter on a different PC.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
