Cannot install

I purchased a Netgear AC600 wireless adapter and two Netgear N600 wireless adapters.  I installed the AC600 adapter on my PC using the supplied CD.  I works great for internet service.  I tried to install the N600 on a smart TV using the WPS button, but it does not work.  I cannot use the install CD because the TV does not have a CD drive.  I also tried installing the AC600 on the TV using the WPS button but it does not work either.  The light on the adapter does not light at any time.  The WPS light on the router does flash, indicating that it is searching for the adapter.

My TV is a Samsung Model UN26D4003BDXZA-CN01.
My wireless router is a Linksys Model WRT54GS_UG_WEB_20070529.

The router receives it signals from a WOW modem provided by WOW Cable Service.  Coaxial cables directly from the WOW modem does work, but I want to replace the cables with wireless connections.

My Email is:  JamesWFink@yahoo.com

To get wifi to a tv would require that the tv be compatible with the wireless card or even have that option.

Your tv isn't. Its not a smart tv and wouldn't have the options to recognize a usb wifi card. The usb port is for picture viewing from a usb jump drive.

You'd need some type of streaming box such as roku, apple tv, fire tv, etc. to get wifi/streaming to your tv.

    The adapters not bad. Sorry.

Plus your provider would need an app for streaming. Its working now because its just going over the coax to the TV tuner.

You cannot use a USB device like that to make your TV wifi capable.

The TV's USB is for storage, things like music and films.

If you look at the documents for the A6100 and the "System Requirements" you will see that its says that you need a Windows PC. That is not just for installation. That is to make it work.

Some TV makers have their own specialist, and probably expensive, widgets to add wifi.

If your TV has a wired LAN input, then a good option is to use Powerline Ethernet.

I use that. It is easier to set up, faster, and more reliable than wifi.
