Can't download new update of Netgear software

I received a message that a new version of the Netgear software for my Wi-fi adapter is available.  When I try to download, the download proceeds for a while and then I get a message that "Downloaded file failed its integrity check. The CD version of the software will be installed instead."

How do I deal with this?

    you didn't really give us anything to go off.

    What wifi adapter? 

    What software are you downloading? 

    What are you installing it on?

      The adapter is the A7000 Nighthawk AC1900 USB adapter. I've attached a screenshot of the information about software being downloaded.  I'm using a PC running on Windows 10.
