compatibility macos catalina
I just bought the Nighthawk AC1900 Wifi USB adapter. Will it work with Macos Catalina?

After Searching I found this tool, and it get it to work on Catalina. Hope it helps atleast temporarily until Netgear releases the fix

It's the macOS new operating system. The update was released today the 7th and it broke the use of everyones A7000 USB WiFi Adapter.

I tryed to install the driver listed from the error shown it is trying to put it in the wrong place, so no it is not compatible with catalina

If Apple has broken something, then let them know as well as Netgear.
There is a good chance that other makers of USB Adapter's have fallen victim to the same bug.

It is not a bug.
Apple has changed the way applications are installed ontop of the operating system by introducing a read-only system volume.

Doubtless that will help anyone who uses Macs. There won't be many of those here as Netgear support for USB adapters for Macs is limited.
This is one of the few discussions I have seen here on that front.
Pity it is design ineptitude rather than a bug. Bugs can get fixed.
