Issue is the 5.0Ghz connection. Once I disabled this on the router it started to work fine. Though 2.4Ghz is slower (kinda...ish) it has better range anyway. Something I can deal with until Verizon fixes this.

On which router did you disable the 5Ghz? The GS3100 of Verizon's, or the Netgear?
