Connection issues with FioS G3100

Pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is causing the issue here.  We recently upgraded to the FiOS G3100 Gateway router and I've been able to connect my A7000 directly to the router.

Now, I can see it, I can 'connect' where I enter the password and accepts, but says No Internet.  I'm able to pull up my IP address/gateway information in command, but if I try to access the router through my browser directly, I'm unable to access/find it.

Accessing router settings, I see that my computer had made some kind of contact, shows my MAC address, IP address assigned, but was not showing as active.

I've been trying one thing after another, and just nothing has been working.  I've updaed the router firmware as well as my A7000.  I've even tried using the WPS button, which recognized it nearly immediately, but still didn't properly connect to the router.

Not sure if it's something with Netgear firmware or Fios.

  • I had to same issue with the older verizon routers and I am getting the G3100 next week... However, I recall when I hooked my ac1900 to my verizon router (and turned off the verizon router wifi), I read about hooking it up as a bridge... only a few things to do and it works great BUT I also have to router saying not internet... however, I get great connectivity so the only thing the no internet seems to affect is upgrading the router. If I recall, I had to plug the ethernet into 1-4 and NOT the input. I also had to set it so allow the main router to hand out DHCP and lastly I chose to use a dedicated IP so I can access it with something other than 192.168.1.1 which would confuse the network and make it hard or impossible to access...Not sure if any of this is helpful but you have all made me worried about next week (ha).. anyway, 2.4 and 5g works and I turned off guest network for that person who mention it because that didnt work oddly enough... I am tired, pardon any typos...
