High ping while gaming

So I recently bought a new cyberpower pc but it was not installed with wifi so I picked up a the A6210 wifi adapter and plugged it in and installed the drivers like it said. Internet browsing works great but when i satrt to play games like minecraft or cs:go the ping is high and every game is unplayable other than Among Us. What should I do? Im so confused

If you're gaming, I'd do my best to hardwire in your pc either using ethernet, a moca adapter (ethernet over coax), or powerline.

Those are going to give you the lowest ping times.

Are you connecting over 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

When you speedtest with the adapter, what speeds and ping do you get?

    What router do you have?

    What modem/gateway do you have?

Well I honestly don't know what happened over night but when I did a speed test it went from like 2Mbps to like 60.15Mbps so I have no idea why its faster
