I solved the A7000 disconnect problem while maintaining USB 3.0 speed without disabling RunSWUSB.exe
The problem with this device seems to lie the RunSwUSB.exe process. In order to overcome the disconnect issue, the internet suggests disabling RunSwUsb.exe but the problem with doing this is that it forces this device to run on USB 2.0 speeds. Why pay for such an expensive wifi dongle when I have to run USB 2.0?
RunSwUsb seems to be a RealTek program that switches the Usb 3.0 to 2.0 when the chip either overheats or draws too much power. I also realized that many USB 3.0 hard drives seem to have this problem as well and seem to run better on a powered USB 3.0 hub.
Solution:
Purchase a powered USB 3.0 Hub and connect the A7000 through that. Update all drivers including your USB 3.0 driver. Disable the windows from shutting off the USB 3.0 and A7000 device for power saving purposes. I also stripped my A7000 down by removing the plastic cover and put some copper shims on the chipset cover to increase cooling.
I have been able to run my Wifi at FULL 3.0 Speeds for over 28 hrs now without one disconnect. I am finally happy with the product after trying so many months how to actually solve this issue.
Remember: Purchase a powered USB 3.0 Hub and use that.
