If not detected, It's out of order?
I have Windows 8.1. If my PC not detected A7000 adapter, Is it broken? Another USB adapter works. When I visit Netgear web to download driver, I can't download.
Before actually plugging the adapter into your computer, you need to install the drivers.
so uninstall the current driver/utilities (if any) and reboot computer without the adapter installed. Then install the standalond driver (get it here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/a7000)
Once installed, then plug the adapter in.
