Installing driver for WG111v2 not working

If you look at the product data sheet, the newest operating system it supports is XP. 

It might be time to upgrade that device.

Yeah, plan to...just wanted to use this temporarily.

 

Why do they have newer drivers for newer OSes?

    Looks like the release notes show it does support up to windows 7.
    Maybe its just the device being bad.
