Netgear A6210 Connected but no internet access after a few hours of use
Heya all,
So I recently purchased a Netgear A6210 as to have access to the 5GhZ capabilities of my wifi network. At first, I was pretty happy with the adapter, until after a few hours my internet stopped working. I checked via command prompt and I received no return from 8.8.8.8. I at first assumed this was because my network was down (which happens from time to time), but when I checked my phone, I had perfect perfect internet. When I checked the wifi panel on my computer it said the following: Connected, no internet access. After unplugging it, the problem solved itself, but you can be certain that this doesn't content me as being disconnected in the first place is unintended. I've changed my power settings so that the adapter doesn't get shut down and I had also removed the original driver since I suspected that that was causing the issue (which it was not) and I am still clueless to what is causing it. I'm running windows 10 and my previous wifi adapter didn't have this problem. Has anyone else encountered this specific problem?

Check that Windows does not have settings that turn off the USB device after an interval.
Not sure if this is what that means:

Windows loves to make life "easyt" for us.

Yes, with that I meant that I went into the control panel to my power settings and turned off selective suspension aswell as turning off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" inside the device settings from a device called: 802.11ac Wireless LAN Card which I'm certain off is the adapter.

How about this in Device Manager:
- Network adapters
- {Your device}
- Properties
- Power Management
Windows is good at burying these things.
That one is device specific.
