The short answer, buy another device.
The long answer of things you can try, which has failed for me....
Disable RunSwUSB service
Disable Power saving for the device
Roll back drivers, been through them all with the same issues.
Advanced Settings, you can try changing things, which from my findings will work for a while, then just fail again. Even if you go back to settings that didn't work in the past, it suddenly starts working again, then stops working.
The device is a failure, just Google it and Netgear does not seem to care to fix it.
