Netgear Nighthawk stopped working?

I bought netgear nighthawk ac1900 wifi usb adapter 6 months ago because my laptop only recognize 2.4 ghz wifi. Everything worked perfectly when i installed my new adapter (5ghz and 1300mbs compared to 2.4ghz and 144mbs) till yesterday when its only 2.4ghz. Got both enabled in my wifi settings, wasnt changing nothing it just stopped recognize 5ghz wifi. (when i disable 2.4 it cant find my network). Please help

    Does the issue still exist? 

     

    Please uninstall and install the stand-alone driver version. You can also try changing the router 5GHz channel and check if it will resolve the issue.
