No internet
Netgear 56 router for home network works fine. Internet (wireless and Cat 5) started dropping and could be brought back with a power cycle. Now internet does not come up at all. All router status lights are blue except internet and it is amber. I have Cox Cable and they have cycled my cable modem and I have done a power reset and a reset buttonon the modem - no help. I have cycled the NG 56 router via power and reset button several times and still no internet. I have installed my old Netgear 44 router and internet works. I moved the WEB Cat 5 cable from the NG 44 to the 56 and the internet did not come up. Everytime I plugged the WEB Cat 5 cable into the NG 44 I had internet and in the NG 56 I do not. I have spent in excess of 3 hours on Tech support with no luck at getting a solution. The hold times are completly unacceptable. I know the end results will be a new router but getting there seems to be a challenge.

Netgear56 is your ssid name. Not your model.
What model router do you have? (look at the label)
What firmware is on it?What modem do you have from cox?
