Re: A8000 capped speed

I have used many TP-Link adapters over the years, but finally had the guts to pull the trigger on the Netgear Nighthawk 8000 adapter and It Is great....blows TP-Link out of the water IMHO.

I use a Vodafone Powerhub with a 500Mbps plan.

Powerhub Is downstairs and I'm In a corner room using the Nighthawk adapter and speeds are constand 480-500Mbps.

Over double the speed compared to TP-Link, Bosstrend and various others I have tried.

If you are getting 500Mbps, then If someone was downstairs doing some hardcore gaming, and 3 others constantly uploading and downloading 4k videos and one streaming 8k (lol) 500Mbps would still be wayyyyyy more than you need.
