AC7000 connection & BSOD
I bought the AC7000 recently as I was having BSOD issues with my previous wifi adapter (TP-link). I’ve had absolutely no connection issues (approximately 1 month) until last night - at first i thought...

Good luck! I have tried multiple things and nothing works reliably to sold the A7000 issues.
I am beyond frustrated and Netgear has not responded to any posts.
.
Spent several hours every day last week and many hours this weekend trying to get the Netgar A7000 to work properly. Each solution I tried (detailed in my thread) worked for half a day to a day before I had issues again - adapter disconnects and I cannot even reconnect - I have reboot .the laptop (after unplugging the adapter since the laptop will not restart with th A7000 plugged in when it is in this 'disconnected + stuck' state.
I even bought the Asus USB-AC68 (again) and that also had issues after a while.
All of the above issues (see my separate thread) was on a 2020 16GB Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 15.6" laptop (which only has USB-C ports so I have to use USB-C to USB-A adapters) with an A7000 and an Orbi RBK853 system.
Seems these USB wifi adapters do not like certain computer configurations (CPU and / or motherboard chipset) and / or USB controllers / USB port types (USB-C port which requires a USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect these USB wifi adapters).
Ironically, the Netgear A7000 worked fine for weeks on end on my late 2016 Acer Predator laptop with USB-A ports, although that was with the RBK753S which I returned when I got a great deal on an RBK853.
I will test the A7000 on the Predator again the next few days, now that I have the RBK853.
At least the RBK853 overall has been very stable!

My second sentence above should read 'nothing works reliably to solve the A7000 issues' ('solve', not 'sold' - that was a typo).

In the end I've given up and returned my AC7000 as there doesn't seem to be a reliable fix that works for everyone. Since Netgear appear to be silent on this issue I just gave up and got my money back.
