Wifi adapter A6150 making computer crash

Hi, after much trouble shooting it’s been determined that the wifi adapter is the source of my computer crashing. If I start the computer without the adapter is stays on fine. As soon as I plug it in it crashes. I’ve also uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them- same thing. Any suggestions?

Does this mean that Windows crashes?

It usually throws up error messages that might be a guide to what is happening.

As well as the drivers for the A6150, there are also various drivers for USB devices in Windows. You might like to check that the chipset and motherboard drivers are up to date. The computer makers don't always keep these up to date, and Widows Update will not find those.

Does the Device Manager in Windows offer any clues? Any nasty warning triangles?
