WNA3100 N-300 no being detected or working with my Windows 7 pc

So I have an WNA3100 wireless adapter that after a software update just lost connection. After finding the software for it on the website and tried to reinstall it. I got the software by using a different internet adapter. After I installed the software and went to the area where it says, "Click next to continue", and it just says detecting adapter. Is there any way to fix that?
