WNDA3100_SWSTALONE.zip_V2.2.0.6_Setup_

This file does not appear to be in the download support section of netgear.

The v2.2.0.5 file has the genie included -

And does not identify or handshake with the router.

I've wasted the time attempting to use that tool

to setup and id in Windows 10.

It simply does not happen.

My cell phone easily has shook hands and has

done a system update this morning at the same

setting in the living room comfort chair.

Doing the push button routines on the usb and the router device -

does not identify or handshake to allow the usb wireless coupler

to talk to the router & like themselves -   a Linksis 23575 high speed unit.

With 3 antennaes to transmit and receive.

And turning it off and starting fresh cold.

Still to no avail.

Anyone know from a trusted source where -

WNDA3100_SWSTALONE.zip_V2.2.0.6_Setup_

is located?

It is not in NetGear Download support.

  • Hi rqcook,

Please check the router to make sure that Access list is not enabled. Try changing the channel of the wireless network of your router.

  • I know that this is going to sound dumb.

I always ask questions that others already

have worked through - likely multiple times.

The file I asked for was in the 2.2.05 download zip file.

I've got it and realized now that

the 2.2.06 file is there also.

The fight I have before me - is

    that the netgear usb wnda3100 v2 -

Does not communicate with the Linksys ea 6900 router.

Standing over top of it - there is no handshake.

The built in wireless communicates with the router -

Downstairs - standing over top or along side.

    But the Netgear does not.

    No handshake.

Not using automatic configuration and choosing

    any of the security protocols.

    And

Not by manually doing the push buttons on both the USB

and the Router to refresh the transmit and receive functions

    in both units.

So, I ask you - is there any help for this Winda3100 Dual Band

    Transmitter?    or ?
