Working Drivers for On Networks N150MA-199NAS
Since Netgear won't provide us with working drivers for the On Networks N150MA-199NAS wireless adapter as illustrated here (https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Adapters/On-Networks-N150MA-199NAS-driver-not-available/td-p/1235846) and here (https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Adapters/On-networks-N150MA-drivers-download/td-p/995565), I decided to find out which Realtek chipset this adapter is based off of. With that information, I was able to get the following drivers to work in Windows:
https://www.realtek.cz/download-driver-nr-483-for-realtek-RTL8188CUS-and-Windows7-64bit.html
In case the above link goes offline, here is a mirror:
https://dinofly.com/files/drivers/realtek_RTL8188CUS_win7-v1012.0.1231.2010.zip
To install these drivers, you must use the "Have disk" method when updating the drivers for the device that shows up in Device Manager. Generic instructions can be found here:
https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/11997-have-disk-method-for-windows-7-vista/
For your version of Windows, be sure to select the right inf for 64bit or 32bit.
Please re-release the official drivers for any OnNetworks products, as your comparable products drivers do NOT work or install for the OnNetworks models! Super annoyed. Thanks Netgear.
