2 x EX7300 installation
Hello,
Hopefully someone can help give me advice. I am going to install 2 x EX7300 in cottages for a client. They have a line of sight attena's to send the signal from the house to the two cottages...

Hi Coullio1971,
Welcome to the community!
Yes, you can daisy chain the EX7300 from another EX7300.

Hi Coullio1971,
Yes, you can since the EX7300 is a mesh extender. You may find more info on the links below.

This is a strange one. I tried to set up one of the devices as an AP but kept getting no Internet. I then updated the firmware and completely lost it.
I will explain what I am trying to achieve. The customer has 2 cottages away from his house. He is using antennas to send the signal from the house to the cottages and has modems at both ends (this is for the antenna). My plan was set up one of the EX7300 as an AP then use the other as an extender in the other cottage. Would I better getting a stand alone router in the cottage and put that into AP mode then use an extender in the other cottage? So basically he has BT Home Hub > House Antenna Modem > Cottage Antenna Modem > Devolo Plug Extender, I wanted to replace the Devolo with the EX7300 but had issues getting the internet to stay up. Any advice would be great.

I'm a bit confused here. The Devolo plug extender is powerline, correct? So it is taking ethernet from the cottage antenna modem and putting it onto the powerline. Where's the other end of the powerline network?

These are not powerline due to not being on the same ring circuit. I have asked a few more questions. I was under the illusion that the antenna modem was installed directly into the BT Home Hub, but could be into ANOTHER extender. I have asked the customer this and awaiting a reply. Planning on heading back to the customer this Thursday and installing the 2 x EX7300. I have set one up as an AP and the other as an extender .
