I have my wireless security set up to use WPA AES (rather than TKIP that the 3000RP seems to want to use).


access point to don't choose by itself. whatever you choose to use in your main router is what access point will identify and tries to connect.

have you try WPA2?

also can you ping the router with WPA-aes?
