AC 1900 WiFi Range Extender EX7000 cannot get to recognize ethernet devices
I recently changed my modem to the new xfinity XB6 modem/router. My NetGear EX7000 range extender is connected to the new router. However, none of the devices connected via ethernet to the range extender will connect. I took one device and reset to factory, and was able to restart it, and that made it availailable to be used on wifi. I have 3 other devices connected to the EX7000. Is there a way to 'force' the EX7000 to recognize all devices so that I don't have to do factory reset on everything? Seems to be like a block is in there that if I could adjust the settings of the EX7000, I would be able to avoid resetting all devices.

What Firmware version is loaded on the EX?
What is the Mfr and model# of the main host router the NG extender is connected too? What is the distance between the main host router and the EX unit? 30 feet is recommended to start with in between.
What channels are you using on the main host router?
- kdsharpAspirantI have installed the latest firmware upgrade on the extender. The main host router is XFINITY XB6 model. The extender is about 30 ft away. I have confirmed the extender is connected by me using Ethernet connection from my laptop to the extender. One of the devices that is connected via Ethernet is a LUTRON Caseta controller. It was not working until I reset it to factory defaults and went through the set up application. When I did that, I was able to get that to work. The name of the broadband signals and passwords did not change.

What ethernet devices are not working when connected to the EX?
Ensure your using a known good working LAN cable between the EX and the LAN device. Cat6 is recommended.
