Try resetting the extender, and downgrading the firmware to 1.0.0.66 ( https://kb.netgear.com/000059563/EX7000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-66 )

I will try your suggestion. The new firmware has completely bricked my AC1900EX7000 like it has many others.
Unfortunately right now I can not connect to either of the ext bands. So Mywifeext.net does not recognize the EX7000. Any suggestions how I can roll back the firmware would be appreciated.

I did downgrade to firmware 66 and it worked for a few minutes but quickly quit working. After spending 7 hours on this problem and trying to get the AC1900 EX7000 to work, I am giving up. It has given me a couple of years of good service and it is time to buy the updated model and hope it works for a couple of years.
