AC 750 Device light
at what point should I expect the device light to come on on my extender? The power, WPS, and router light are on. I got a notification that the extender is connected and has a strong wifi signal. ...
The device light comes on when you connect a pc/laptop/phone/device to the extender. Did you connect something to it?
Thank you for your reply. I am absolutely without knowledge about these things. I was able to get the extender up and running and three of the four lights are on.
I noticed that after I set up the extender that somehow the Netgear app appeared on, my wife’s cell phone. Neither of us downloaded it.
I have no idea how to connect to the extender. We each have an iPhone and an iPad we want to link up to the extender (4 devices total) and I have no clue as to how to do that. Any direction you can provide is much appreciated.If you went through setup, you would have set the extender with its own ssid (name). Or if you set it up using WPS (push button method), it would have setup with the same ssid (name) plus _ext at the end.
So whatever you setup the name as, connect to that. None of the AC750 devices are mesh devices so shouldn't be set with the same name as the primary router.
Thank you. We see the extender but cannot remember the password. I do not see any way to get the password. Any advice?
