I want to use my ac1000 as an wireless access point. I have an R7000 as a router. When I type the address www.router login.net to my browser, i see my router and not the access point, thus i can't re...
when i try to connect the ac1000 to a computer directly the internet LED on the router turns amber. I can't see it on my computer.
What router is it? Ac1000 is a speed.
What else is connected to the router?
Are you connecting to the lan port or wan port with your pc?
model R 6080
I am connecting it to the only ethernet port on the back of my pc.
and which port are you connecting it to on the router? the wan port or lan port?
Disconnect everything from the router other than your pc and make sure its plugged into the lan port.
Then reboot the router and the computer.
then try to acces the router and put it in AP mode
