AC1200 EX6200 vs. DD-WRT
Despite having searched, I can't seem to find reliable UK-based results for the AC2100/EX6200 or AC750/EX6100. Any info regarding their UK release?
Having said that, will they (or any other Netgear extender) be of any use if using a router with third party firmware? I have the WNDR3700v1 with DD-WRT. If not, any recommendations for extenders welcome.

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoIf you have 3700 then why you would look into 802.11ac extender. Just get wn2500rp dual band extender.
802.11ac extender will not be effective for 300Mbps 802.11N router . You may want to save some money instead. - daztrueAspirant

I realise that, but I'm thinking ahead for when I upgrade my router.
I've since found some detail on the upcoming UK release of the EX750-100UKS & EX1200-100UKS, but I still need to know whether these (or any other Netgear) extenders will work will a router using DD-WRT firmware. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoI don't think firmware itself should cause an issues to make wireless connection horrible enough to be concern. If any wifi device can connect to ddwrt run router then extender should be as easy one too.
- daztrueAspirantWhichever extender I choose, are there any config differences between US and UK extenders that could cause problems, or will all be fine?
