AC1200 extender used with Fios Network Extender WCB6200Q
Hi All, I am having problems connecting the Netgear AC1200 to my Fios network extender. Is it not possible to extend the Fios extender? It won't establish connection, and I can't see the 5gh...
BTW, the Fios extender is connected via coax cable.

You could try lowering the wireless channel on the router. Also you may want to add the mac address to the routers allow list. As for the same name yes you can name it the same but it will still be a separate network and your devices will not automatically switch to the best network.
