AC1200 wifi extender

Hello everyone,

 

I picked up this wifi extender yesterday and set it up as per the instructions.  All lights are green.  The weird thing is that I can connect to the internet via the extender on my laptop (both bands) but when I try on my cell phone or ipad mini it connects to the extender but says no internet connection.  

 

I've already tried doing the factory reset with the same results and it has the latest firmware installed.

 

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi tcc13, welcome to the community! Can the phone and iPad connect and go online when connected to the main network/router? When checking the attached devices list on the main router, does the extender show up as an attached device?

      Hi Dexter,

       

      Yes the phone and ipad can connect to the router normally and access internet.

       

      Yes when looking at he attached devices on the router, the extender shows it is connected as a wireless device.
