AC1200 WiFi Range extender - NO INTERNET
Today I installed a new router (just an upgrade - one integrated unit instead of two) sent by my ISP. The internet is working fine in the attic room where the router is and elsewhere in the house.
However I cannot get the Internet to work on the TV downstairs. The TV is connected to the EX6150 AC1200 WiFi Range Extender downstairs. When I click on the Internet button on the TV remote, I get a NETGEAR screen with NEW EXTENDER SETUP. Do I need to try and do something from that screen?
Also when I enter the Wireless Key in my Network and Internet Settings for the 2GExt, it doesn't recognise it even though the key is definitely correct as I double checked with my ISP and it obviously works with other devices e.g. laptop.
Can you help? Bearing in mind I am not super savvy when it comes to IT. Thank you.

First move the extender to the room with the router. the goal is to get it working with the router. Then you can move it to where the tv is.
You can first try the wps method for setup because its probably the easiest and fastest. it doesn't always work with isp supplied routers though so there's also the smart installation wizard you can use. If you use the wizard, I'd recommend hardwiring into the extender if possible with a laptop/pc. it tends to go smoother for setup.
the support site has videos of both the wps method and the installation wizard. I'd highly recommend watching both. It also has a written install guide, manual, and firmware. Try getting it setup in the same room. Once its setup, then move it to where the tv is and proceed with connecting the tv to it.
