AC1200 WiFi Range Extender - password/security of existing router
OK, so a couple of concerns I have in light of so many hardware companies taking security for granted or worse... To access the device, the connection is simply via a non-secure HTTP? So any pass...

So I don't care about whether Netgear "looks" at the password or not. My question is does Netgear/its products/its affiliates take my wifi password and store it anywhere other than my local computer or the local device?
Also I was hoping to get clarification on the login connection to the device itself - it seems this is not a secure http connection?
