AC1200

We finally got Fiber to the house and I'm trying to switch the AC1200 extender over to the new Router but I can't connect to it. Even after I did a factory reset. Its connected to the new router with a Cat5 cable and I can see it in the Wifi connections menu, but it won't connect and I cant reset it through the web portal.

    What actual extender is it? AC1200 is a speed. 

    Some devices have a switch on the side for extender mode versus ap mode. If its hardwired in, the switch needs to be on AP mode.
