AC1750 used as Access point connected through ethernet

I have an existing AC1750 that I would like to use to extend wifi access onto my deck/backyard/pool area.  Configured the AC1750 after a factory reset and everything seems to be working. Top left of ...

If its actually using the ethernet connection its just how windows is displaying the network profile.

Easy check? Disable the built in wifi and connect the laptop. If it connects and everything still works fine, then its windows assigning the name of the wireless to the ethernet connection.
