AC1900 Driver digital signature not recognized

Question

I have windows 7 sp1 and have attempted to install the device drivers for the AC1900 wifi adapter...they install but they fail to install due to the digital signature NOT being recognized, hence the OS ignores them and i cannot use the new adapter.

I am NOT going to update my OS due to a variety of reasons for the machine i am using.

Question: HOW can i make windows recognize the digital signature??? Are there replacement drivers somewhere that will be recognized?

I have seen other posts on this general topic for other adapters but there have been no solutions provided that I can see in the forums.

do you have a screen snip of the actual error?&nbsp;
Are you installing the stand alone driver version?&nbsp;

I have attempted to install both, including the stand alone...the drivers are the same for each.

i do not have a screenshot but in device manager, when looking at the drive properties, it says....unable to varify the digital signature.

well, after about a dozen reboots i finally got to the advanced screen, disabled driver signature enforcement and attempted to install the software which continued to fail, this time because under safe mode the OS did not recognize the installation program and hence failed to install the drivers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;You cannot reboot the computer with the disabled signature enforcement in normal mode for my OS apparently.&nbsp;What i need is for NETGEAR to provide a properly signed driver for windows 7.&nbsp; I have been on with their support people for HOURS and they have no idea how to do this.&nbsp;Taking the damn thing back to best buy and buy a linksys.&nbsp;
