AC1900 Ex6400V3 Range Extender - Nighthawk App access

Configured range extender, but Nighthawk app cannot find Extender. Asking me to connect to "NETGEAR_EXT" network on my iPhone Wifi settings but although it is no longer an available network, only my router wifi network is available. Local network access enabled on my app settings. I signed into the Netgear portal and I can see the extender, but have not been able to access it through the app. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or solutions.

    Once configured, these Mesh enabled Extenders (like your EX6400v3 AC1900 WiFi Mesh Extender Essentials Edition in it's full glory name), does duplicate the same SSID like your primary WiFi router. It's up to the mobile WiFi device which access point it's connoting to, there is no way to choose.

     

    No extenders connect to some cloud service to my knowledge, impossible to gain a direct like e.g. from https://my.netgear.com/ which does serve for product registration, warranty, plus firmware and documentation access along with the reference to the community.
