AC2200 nighthawk extender.
Ac2200 is setup if power is disconnected will I have to go back to setup and find and install the extender again, asking in case I want to move extender .

its actually done by the router. The extender has to use the same channel the router is on so changing the wireless channel, changes which one the extender uses.
What extender is it? AC2200 is a speed.
What firmware is on it?
Waht router is it connecting to?

if you unplug it and plug it in elsewhere, it should retain its settings and be able to autoconnect.
- K9cop1142Dec 20, 2020AspirantHmm,it did not seem to do that for me but I will try it again ,is there anything in the settings to check for auto connect.

auto connect back to the router or the devices to the extender?
Reason I ask that is if you move it somewhere where the service is sketchy, something is blocking wifi (think things in walls like hvac), or its just out of range, then it won't/can't connect.

I was having a problem with it connecting back to router, is thgere a way to change channels on the extender so to get which ever is better or is that done by extender.
