AC3000 Nighthawk X6S Extender: Power light turns from green to flashing red. All front flash white?
I have had this wifi extender for about two years with no problem, but I started to notice my wifi speed was slower and then I saw that my extender front lights were flashing white. I tried turning off the unit and turning it back on and the power green light turned to a flashing red light after about 15 seconds. I repeated the process a few time but to no avail. I tried resetting the unit and the problem persisted. There in no fix for this in the manual and on-line support is truly frustrating. Based on the comments I've read regarding this problem, Netgear doesn't appear to have an answer. I looks like I'm left with buying a different unit. I would appreciate a response but I doubt that I will get one. Thanks,

If the power light is blinking, it usually means the firmware is corrupted or there's a different hardware issue. you can try recovering it using tftp.are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
