AC750 cannot connect to my new xfinity router (AC 9560)
Anybody know if there is a Netgear WiFi Extender that'll connect to my ne xfinity router?
Turns out that my Xfinity Gateway is a Technicolor CGM4140. But i am still looking for a wifi extender that will connect to this gateway.
Most of netgears extenders should work. If you want help setting one up, please expand on the other details I've asked
The 5.0MHZ setting on my extender connects to the internet, but the 2.4MHz does not.
This is just copied and pasted from my prior post. I'm trying to help you out but you're giving me minimal information and responses. I'm doing my best but I need a bit more effort on your part to try to help you out here. You still haven't even put what extender it is you're using. You put AC750 which is a speed not a model.
3. What firmware is on your extender?
Where is it failing?
Are you failing to see the extenders wifi broadcast?
Are you connecting to the extender but the extender isn't seeing the router's wifi?
Is it the password thats failing?
I can see both the .._5GEXT and the _2GEXT networks, but only the _5GEXT connects to the internet.
