AC750 extender with AC1750 router
Will the AC750 extender work with the R6300v2 AC1750 router? Do the numbers have to match? I understand the MBPS will be lower on the extender but as long as it will work, that doesn't bother me.

Yes it will work, because you have purchased the correct device. AC routers will go well with AC extrenders but they do not go with N specs.
