Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

Hi, I've now got a Netgear account but when I try and sign in when requested, the sign in button never works, what ever access I'm using (TV, mobile phone etc), it just stays on the input screen. Any advice?

Try a different pc/laptop/device and/or web browser

but I've tried it on all my devices, same result. I don't get an option to change web browser on the TV which is the main issue. I think I shall just buy a new extender that doesn't require this option. It's really annoying, so has put me off the product anyway.
