AC750 Wi-Fi range extender question

I have an airport extreme at home. We use our phones and computers to connect to this router. When my brother bought a 4k smart tv. I noticed that the video on youtube was buffering. He also bought an amazon stick. Now would buying this wifi extender improve the connection on the 4k tv and the amazon stick? There won't be any problems even if I use an airport extreme router? Correct?

    Hello Gumblue32

     

    A wireless extender will give you more wifi coverage in the home but the bandwidth will be slower so does your smart TV have weak wifi signal?

      It just buffers sometimes when I use youtube. The TV has a wireless ac card
