Access point wg602v3 works fine, but unable to turn on security.
have had this for a while, works well. Tried to replace with more upto date version, but works with PC, but not with Android, or not with Mac. BUT i cannot enable the security. Tried logging onto WA...
To access the netbios, I assume I do this via CONTROL CENTRE. ( sadly have MAC laptop and old PC laptop with me, plus ipad and android tablet. )
the second para... Have tried the unplugging, resetting etc. Am not sure of how to assign a STATIC IP to the laptop. Could you add more details please. And many thanks for your assistance. Much appreciated.
i believe the old PC laptop is win7.

On your PC, you should be able to just enter the Netbios name into any browser. I'm not sure if it will work on a Mac. You can try appending .local to the Netbios name.

Do a Google search for windows static ip. Any of the top results will provide you with instructions.
