Access pont works one location but not another
I have a wgr614v9 configured as an access point with a short cable next to the primary router, works great, but when moved to the end of a 50 ft cat5 it no longer works. Ethernet light blinks slow gr...
probably still have cable issues.
common test only do TDR test but does not do extensive testing such as CAT5 certifier that cost $1500.00 and up
you may still cable issues if shorter cables works. CAT5/6 supports 320ft so I say you have issues in cables, pin out etc. if this is pre maid cables you may still have an issues.
