Accessing WG302 via http since the year changed?

I just got a usb to db9 male and a double female adapter but I can't get them to connect with my wg302's what am i doing wrong ? please help do i need anything else ? I loaded the driver for the usb to db9 on my system, I must have one of the sets of really bad ones because i can do nothing with them. even after trying to put them back to factory, I hold the reset button in for 30 sec, then unplug the unit still holding the reset in for an other 30 sec, then plug it back in still holding the reset for a final 30 sec.

can get in with cat 5 cable using putty and the ssh but not able to get any where with gui or the usb to db9. Please some one help
