Add additional product to existing Night Hawk AC 1900 for more range
Can you add a booster to an existing Wi-fi extender? I have a Night hawk AC 1900 dual band now and would like to increase range further. Thank you

I never recommend using more than 1 extender if you're using a single or dual band extender. Reason why is the single/dual band extenders drop throughput (speed) 50% of what they receive. This happens because they have to use the same chip to go router----extender and then extender----devices. And it can't do both at once. Add in interference and distance, and that 50% speed reduction from the router can be starting at a significantly lowered point. So you might be only at 20-40% of the routers speed. Then you add a 2nd extender and go through that same thing.
The only time it really works is if you avoid daisy chaining them.
Daisy chain: router---->extender----->extender
you want them in a star configuration
Star: Extender<----------router----------->extender
And if you have them setup in a mesh, you need to make sure the extenders are out of each others range or they can end up connecting to each other.
usually if people are needing more than 1 extender, I advise them to move to a full mesh system like Orbi or MK nighthawk. And go with the triband version if you're needing more than 1 satellite
