Advice for WiFi extender
Hi all.
Need a bit of advice. I have the above item to extend my WiFi - it states that the EX2700 will extend up to 600 sq ft.
basically i want to extend my WiFi from house to garage that is separate from the house. Using the above item it just about gets to the garage door but then looses power inside the garage. My question is this - would a different range extender that covers more square feet help e.g. the EX7700 which extends up to 2000 sq feet? Just before I go and shall out the cash on it.
I bascvially want my home WiFi in the garage so I can get movies etc on the treadmill etc.
Thanks all

Problem with leaving and entering a building is the exterior walls tend to have the most materials that obstruct wifi. this includes, stucco, brick, concrete, metal side, metal garage doors, foil lined insulation, etc. I could go on with things that block wifi. That's why wifi tends to work better inside homes and then gets sketchy outside homes.
Depending on the distance your trying to run to your garage, a moca adapter, powerline adapter, or even burying a underground ethernet wire might be cheaper and work better then trying to run an extender alone .
