After Mesh Firmware, not selecting the faster radio
Before the "single wifi mesh" I was able to see my 2.4 and 5 ghz radios and manually selected them. I had great results, especially when selecting the 5ghz radio and was getting ~200 Mbps in areas I previously would only get 10-20. After the latest firmware and using the "single wifi" name, it does not seem to be choosing the faster 5 ghz radio. I do my tests in the same area and it seems to only be selecting the 2.4 radio. I see the client light so I know I'm using the extender but getting 2.4 speeds. Why is it not selecting the faster radio? Can I go back so I have the option to manually select the 5ghz radio? Why would it not select that automatically ?

Hi bamabillyp,
Welcome to the community!
1. You can disable the One WiFi Name feature. This link may help out.
2. Have you done a firmware update recenly? If so, we recommend doing a factory reset.

1. Yes. I can turn off the single WiFi name but this product is advertised, and charged a premium, for a single SSID "mesh" which by doing so does not.
2. Yes. I've reset and ensured latest firmware several times.
3. Many others noted the exact same thing.
